The Role
Due to the expansion of business within Ricardo’s Systems Engineering group we are actively searching for a Hydrogen Fuel Cell Systems / Systems Integration Engineer to join our growing team and be involved at the forefront of electric and fuel cell vehicle development.
Job Description
Ricardo has multiple EV and Fuel Cell projects based at it’s US Detroit site and at customer locations and is looking to expand it’s vehicle integration capability in the areas of EV and Fuel Cells. This role will be based in the Detroit Technical Centre for the first 12 months on a hybrid basis. The successful candidate will then spend 12-18 months on the client's site and then transfer back to our technical centre in Detroit.
The role will involve integration of vehicle sub-systems into full vehicle packages, such as fuel cell power systems including both fuel cell stacks and balance of plant, electrified vehicle auxiliary systems. Working closely with the Chief Engineer to learn, understand and perform project tasks. Perform a variety of engineering tasks by applying engineering theory and principles. Capable of carrying out said theories in a practical environment. The Position is aimed at a self-driven engineer with leadership skills looking to progress and learn in their career.
