Role: Test and Assembly Technician (Automotive)

Location: Leamington Spa – MTC, onsite

Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 plus benefits

 

Ricardo’s Performance Products division are seeking a Test and Assembly Technician responsible for the preparation, build and test of gearboxes and axles for low volume, high value driveline systems where quality standards are at the heart of the role.

 

Knowledge and Experience

  • Assembly and test skills with complex mechanical products.
  • Intermediate level of PC and general computer skills – a good working knowledge of MS office.
  • Ability to use measurement equipment such as vernier, micrometer.
  • Familiarity with problem solving tools such as 8D, for investigation and resolution of quality issues.
  • Experience of supporting investigations and contributing ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Able to manage time effectively and prioritises tasks to meet set deadlines.
  • Great attention to detail while following quality, health and safety procedures, and implementing good judgment to make appropriate decisions.

Desirable

  • Some knowledge of LN system (ERP software for manufacturing).
  • Can read and understand / interpret technical drawings / CAD models.
